After experiencing the effectiveness of Acupuncture, for an illness acquired whilst hiking and climbing in the Himalaya, I began my journy to become an acupuncturist.

I qualified from the London School of Acupuncture as it became part of Westminster University in 1997.  After completing three years training in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture I became a Member of the British Acupuncture Council, (BAcC).

Following a placement at Kunming Provincial Hospital in Yunnan province China I returned to the UK and have been working in the London and Essex.

Between 2001 - 2014 I have split my time split between Private practice, based in Chelmsford and Mid Essex Hospital Trust as part of the Combined Pain Service at Broomfield and other Hospitals.  During this time I enjoy the contrast between the one-to-one approach of private treatment and the fast pace of the multi treatment room approach in the NHS.

Since the ending of the NHS Acupuncture service in  February 2014 I have been focused on my private clinic.  This has allowed me more time to further my interests in the treatment of chronic pain conditions and the treatment of fertility/pregnancy helping couples to conceive naturally or offering supportive treatment during IVF and other fertility treatments.
